Terms & Conditions

Terms for bookings, memberships, gift cards and payment at Mou Gokart

These terms apply to all purchases, bookings and memberships with Mou Gokart ApS.

You accept these terms when you book, sign up or pay. We do not store your agreement in a form you can access yourself, so please keep the confirmation email we send you.

Prices and payment

Currency and VATAll prices are in Danish kroner (DKK) and include 25% VAT. Current prices are listed on our prices page. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, typing errors and sold-out time slots.
Payment methodsOnline payments are made with Visa and Mastercard. Payments are processed by our payment provider Swedbank Pay over an encrypted connection. Mou Gokart never stores your card details.
FeesWe do not add a card surcharge when you pay with a consumer card.
ReceiptYou receive a confirmation and receipt by email right after payment. If it does not arrive, please check your spam folder and contact us at mail@mougokart.dk.
Payment on siteEvents can also be settled at the track on arrival by agreement. Invoicing for companies is available on request.

Booking and delivery of the service

The agreementA booking is binding once you have received our written confirmation by email. The service is delivered at Mou Gokart, Hedevej 6, Mou, 9280 Storvorde, at the agreed time. You are buying an experience at the track — no physical goods are shipped.
ArrivalPlease arrive in good time before your booked start time so we can complete the safety briefing and hand out equipment. Late arrival shortens your track time and does not entitle you to a refund.
Safety and participationDriving takes place on our terms and according to staff instructions. Participants who arrive intoxicated or under the influence are refused access to the track without a refund. We provide all required safety equipment, which must be worn while driving.
Weather and cancellation by usThe track is outdoors. If our staff judge that driving is not safe, we offer rebooking free of charge — or a full refund of the amount paid if no new date can be arranged.
Cancellations and changesCancellations, rebooking and changes to the number of participants and food orders follow our cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.

Go-kart club membership

Membership is an ongoing subscription that renews automatically every month during the season, until you cancel or the season ends.

  • Season Expires at season end

Automatic renewal: On sign-up you pay for the first month immediately. After that, DKK 475 is charged automatically to the card you used on the 1st of each month. The charge continues until the membership is cancelled or the season ends. There is no lock-in period beyond the notice period below.

Cancellation: You can cancel at any time by writing to mail@mougokart.dk. The notice period is the current month plus one month: if you cancel on 10 March, for example, the membership runs until 30 April and the April fee is charged. Months already paid for are not refunded.

Season and expiry: The membership follows the club season and expires automatically at the end of the season. No fee is charged outside the season, and the membership does not resume by itself. If you want to continue the following season, a new sign-up is required.

Contact before a new season: When you sign up we ask for your permission to contact you before the next season starts, to hear whether your child would like to join again. This consent is optional and has no bearing on the membership — you can withdraw it at any time by writing to mail@mougokart.dk.

Price changes: Changes to the membership fee are announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not accept the change, you can cancel before it takes effect.

What is included: A weekly club evening with training, mechanics and at least 15 minutes of driving, including the loan of all safety equipment. See the details on our go-kart club page. A parent or guardian must be present during activities and must sign the club manifest.

Gift cards

ValidityGift cards are valid for at least 3 years from the date of purchase. In practice a gift card is valid until the end of the third season after purchase — the exact expiry date is printed on the gift card.
RedemptionRedeem the gift card when you book — simply give us the gift card number. Gift cards can be used for track time and events at Mou Gokart.
Remaining balanceIf the value of the gift card exceeds your purchase, the remaining balance can be used on a later visit within the validity period. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
Lost gift cardsContact us at mail@mougokart.dk if you have lost a gift card — we can usually retrieve it from the purchase details.

Right of withdrawal

Bookings for a specific date: There is no right of withdrawal when you buy track time or events for a specific date or period. This follows section 18(2)(12) of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act on leisure services. Cancellations are instead handled under our cancellation policy.

Gift cards and memberships: If you buy a gift card or a membership online, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. The right lapses for gift cards that have been redeemed, and for memberships if you have taken part in a club evening within the period.

How to withdraw: Send an email to mail@mougokart.dk before the deadline expires. We refund the amount to the card you paid with no later than 14 days after we receive your message.

Complaints

Formal complaintIf we cannot reach an agreement, consumers may file a complaint with the Danish Centre for Complaint Resolution, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark — naevneneshus.dk.
Governing lawAgreements with Mou Gokart ApS are governed by Danish law.

Personal data and security

We only process the information needed to complete your booking, membership or purchase. All communication with this site uses an encrypted connection (SSL), and card details are entered with our payment provider — they never pass through our own systems.
