About the Track & GoKarts
One of Denmark's oldest go-kart tracks — since 1964
Mou GoKart Track
The track is one of Denmark's oldest go-kart tracks. It has been around since 1964 and is approximately 640 meters long and 6-8 meters wide. That might not sound like much, but when karts with a top speed of over 80 km/h are racing around it, there are challenges for go-kart drivers of all skill levels.
With hairpin turns and straightaways that require perfect brake timing, even experienced drivers find themselves challenged.
The past year has brought changes to the track's features. Where there used to be sandpits to stop drivers with an overly eager foot on the accelerator, there are now rubber mats. This means more driving time instead of breaks while the engine gets cleared of sand.

Everyone can drive go-kart!
Our GoKarts come in multiple sizes. This means we can give kids and adults of all sizes a ride on the track.
If your child is at least 7 years old, then go-karting is an option with us. Our current age record is set by a 97-year-old young woman!
We always recommend calling ahead if you're bringing the little ones, so we can make sure the right karts are ready.

The Perfect Race
Our freshly painted starting grid sets the ideal stage for a race. The drivers line up behind the line, and when the green light signals the start, they can feel the machines and hear the engines roaring in a sprint up the straightaway before they hit the first turn.
Who dares wait longest to hit the brakes — and who waits too long? It can all be decided at the first corner.

Famous Drivers from Mou
Three world-class drivers started their careers on our track
Tom Kristensen
9x Le Mans winner
As a 10-year-old in 1977, Tom sat in a go-kart for the first time at the Mou track. The track became his second home, and under the guidance of Allan and Lisa Hussted, he became Danish go-kart champion four times.
In 1985, he beat future Formula 1 world champion Mika Häkkinen at the Nordic championship. The rest is motorsport history — with a record 9 victories at Le Mans 24 Hours, including 6 in a row.
Jørn Haase
Go-kart world champion 1984
As a 17-year-old, Northern Jutlander Jørn Haase started his career at the Mou track. With victories in Denmark, Sweden and Germany, he qualified for the world elite.
In 1984, he became Denmark's first go-kart world champion in Formula K 135cc. Later he founded his own kart brand Haase — and became the only person in history to win world championship titles both as a driver and as a manufacturer.
Marco Sørensen
Aston Martin factory driver
Marco grew up in Svenstrup near Aalborg and drove his first laps at the Mou track as a member of Aalborg Go-kart Club — from the age of 3.
Today he is an Aston Martin factory driver in the FIA World Endurance Championship and has won the LMGTE championship three times (2016, 2020, 2022). His brother Lasse is also a racing driver.

DINO A/S founded in Denmark

Go-kart World Championship in Copenhagen
The only go-kart world championship ever held in Denmark. Won by Italian Susanna Raganelli — still the only woman to have won an FIA world championship on four wheels. Ronnie Peterson (later F1 star) finished 3rd.
Tom Kristensen debuts at Mou
A 10-year-old boy from Hobro sits in a go-kart for the first time. 20 years later, he wins Le Mans.

Team Karlog takes over
A new generation takes over with fresh energy and a vision to preserve the soul of the track — while making the experience even better.
Benjamin & Vicki take the wheel
The track stays in the family. With four kids and gasoline in their blood, the tradition continues into a new era.
Meet the Family Behind the Track
A family business with gasoline in their blood
On January 1, 2026, we — Benjamin and Vicki — took over Mou Gokart. But the story really starts 12 years earlier when Benjamin's parents bought the track. Benjamin grew up with the smell of gasoline and the sound of Honda engines, and spent more of his childhood in a go-kart than on a bicycle.
When the parents wanted to move on, there was no doubt: the track should stay in the family. So here we are — two adults, four kids, and a go-kart track.
Benjamin
The self-proclaimed race chief
Trained nerd with a passion for code and carburetors. Has driven go-karts since he was old enough to reach the pedals. Handles all the technical stuff — from the karts to the website (yes, this one).
Vicki
The one who actually gets things running
Trained social worker, but has traded case files for starting flags. Vicki runs the daily operations, the café, and makes sure everyone — from guests to go-karts — is doing well.
Emma, Cody, Mollie & Luffe
The junior team
Our four kids are already fixtures at the track. They help out where they can, test the karts (someone has to!) and make sure it's never quiet in the café.
Mou Gokart isn't just a business for us — it's part of the family. We've taken over something special, and we work every day to make the experience even better. So when you visit, you're not just visiting a go-kart track. It's our home.
